Exhibitions: Celebrating Friends
1978 celebrates the friends who have made it possible to offer subsidized classes, family workshops, jazz programs and annual 4th of July art projects.
Friends of 1978 is a support organization with a range of membership levels; all participate in a summer gallery party, a preview reception for the annual Small Works exhibition and all are offered a discount on art supplies at Jerry's, in West Orange. Members get early information on events, classes and exhibitions at 1978 and are invited to submit work for the summer Celebrating Friends exhibition.
